So my depression has affected my life a lot.

A LOT. I couldn't attend college at all. I have less than 10% attendance. I'm afraid whether my college would allow me to write the exams or not. I don't have any medical certificate. I have missed all the assignments. I can still give some of them. But I have very less time. And I'm not doing anything. I do feel the urgency of the situation. But I cannot collect myself to do anything at all. I mostly bed rot all day. I cannot pull myself out of my bed., even when I need to, even when I'm starving. Then I have my exams 1 month later. I'm not able to function. But I have to atleast for these 20 days anyhow. How do I make myself do stuff, for just these 20 days atleast. How do I do it. And because exams are approaching, stress and pressure is going to make the situation extremely worse. Also coming of winters doesn't help. Seasonal depression hits so bad.

So if y'all have any tips for how to function and deal with this, kindly please share. It would be really helpful.

Thanks.

Is hopelessness and depression holding you down..

You seem to have a substantial problem from what i read.

Your situation sounds dire...

Do you have a social support system?  Do you have a mental health support system?  Is your environment toxic or draining?

You need to start answering these fundamental questions and begin to balance out your life..🌲

@modestString491

Your situation sounds difficult. At this stage it might be difficult that things could work out. Some things might be already beyond your control.

A first question that comes to my mind is if you are able to say, what made you feel like this? Like before the things started to pile up… what pulled you down?

Are you able to say why did you choose this college? Is this reason something you believe in or something you tried to force yourself into?

If this college learning still matters to you, would it be worth to do your best with what you have left in your control? If you can’t get everything fixed, what feels valuable enough to still learn/complete? Is there something? Or maybe there is something more important for your life now than college?

What do you think?
