My whole life, i learned that "always look pretty" was... a lie. Though i knew, i still tried. I sucked in my stomach, i tried to look pretty, and i tried to be "a barbie doll". I was 5. I became insecure after seeing all the girls having this natural beauty. I was so upset i cried in my room, quietly, so no one could hear me. Now im 13, amd i hate going to school, lock myself in a dark room, talk to no one, and can't seem to talk to my parents without them saying "too expensive" wirhout it even being something i have to buy. Im terrified that life is going to stay this way, i also know we can get through this together, everyone on 7 cups right now. We all have a reason, we all can do it. All i can say is, i have depression. Thats it, no lie to it. Reach out. Even if its hard. Im doing this while regreting but i know it will help. Thank you to whoever is resding this, until next time. -?? :3

Hey, thank you for pushing through the resistance for posting. It’s brave.

Yes, here we are less alone.

It sounds like you deeply believe your main task and value is to look pretty.

Do you have an idea how did you build this belief?

I wonder, can you recall any overweight or otherwise not perfectly doll-like girl that seemed happy?

Looking like a doll might be cute and a curse too - if it comes with being treated like a doll too. Could it be that you want something else, and somehow believe that prettier looks would give it to you?

Please hang in there. I get feeling depressed. Some days are unbearable then others days can be good. Think of those that love you. You have a reason to be here on this earth.

Never give up.

i understand how hard it is. I wish it wasn’t such a struggle😔
