Envy suggests that you see something in others you admire, while at the same time feel as though that "something" is missing in your life.
However, it's not possible to see that something in another person unless the same attribute exists, at some level within you. If that wasn't so, you would not be able to identify that "something" in another person.
Even if you're not feeling loved, you're still loveable. If you envy yourself, befriend that part of yourself that you envy.
