Read this: If want you know that you are better
Hello lovely people,
I understand that many of us are going through tough times in our lives and are depressed. I want you all to know that I am a 26 year old guy whos never had a girlfriend in my life nor never been on a date. Ive told by hundreds of people that I have a ugly face and still get called that. People think im a loser because im a virgin and was told that they felt bad for any girl who wanted to be with me. I always believed that people looked at your values from the inside and not whats on the outside. I try to dress well, go to the gym, got my bachelors degree , working full time in my field and even going my masters part time on evenings . However I realized that these things people dont tend to value anymore, which is fine. Ive been depressed for a long time and im sure the struggles you guys are facing are alot tougher than what ive been through . If i cant be happy then i can make you happy by telling you that you are special and unique and most importantly that you guys are better than me and can never be as good as you.
have a good one!
Hello @diplomaticBirch7532 ☺️
First of all, thank you for your courage in sharing your story. It's not easy to open up about our struggles, especially in a world that often seems to focus on superficial qualities. Your journey, though uniquely yours, resonates with many who also feel overlooked or misunderstood.
Remember, your worth isn't defined by others' opinions or societal standards. It's truly admirable how you've invested in yourself - pursuing education, a career, and personal health. These achievements speak volumes about your character and resilience.
It's also important to recognise that each person's journey to finding connection and love is different. Being a virgin or not having been in a relationship doesn't diminish your value as a person. Genuine connections are built on mutual respect, shared values, and emotional compatibility, not just physical appearance or past experiences.
Depression can deeply impact how we see ourselves and our place in the world. It's okay to seek support, whether through friends, family, or professional counselling. Remember, your feelings are valid, and you're not alone in this.
Lastly, your message of encouragement to others, despite your own struggles, is a testament to your strength and kindness. Keep nurturing these qualities, and don't lose hope. Life is a series of chapters, and this challenging time is not the end of your story.
Take care, and remember, you are more than enough just as you are 😁
