My soon to be step daughter is 15 & she hates me and refuses to have anything to do with me for over a month now. Get this? I AINT DONE SHOOT TO HER! I mean I offered to buy her a phone and told her she couldn't get it or have company til her attitude changed toward her father and grand mother.

@propes30 She's very young dear. That's how teens react to grief unfortunately. you don't have to offer to buy her something, on the contrary this may make her think you're trying to buy her trust. Be patient, show love. Keep your ears open and wait for the opportunity to find common ground with her. She'll accept you eventually. We're here for you and thank you for sharing!
