Still dreaming
The past couple weeks, it feels like I’m dreaming when I’m awake. Like nothing “feels real” if that makes any sense at all. I know it sounds weird, but is this “normal”? Like anyone else experienced this? Whenever I’m “awake” I still have that weird uneasy feeling you have when you’re dreaming. It still feels like a dream and that I’m about to wake up for real at any time, but I know I’m not

I'm not a mental health professional, but I can offer some general insights that might help you understand your feelings. What you're describing could be related to a phenomenon known as "dissociation." Dissociation can make you feel like you're disconnected from reality or that things don't seem real, almost as if you're in a dream.
It's important to note that while dissociation is a relatively common experience, it can vary in intensity and frequency. Many people experience mild forms of dissociation from time to time, especially during periods of stress, anxiety, or when they're extremely tired. However, if these feelings persist or become distressing, it may be helpful to seek professional help from a therapist or mental health counselor.
Dissociation can be associated with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other dissociative disorders. Talking to a mental health professional can help you better understand the underlying causes and receive guidance on how to manage or address these feelings.
It's always a good idea to reach out to a healthcare provider if you're concerned about your mental well-being. They can provide a more accurate assessment and offer appropriate support and guidance.
I have definitely had periods where I am really flat and where thinking feels like I am trying to do it through tons of cobwebs. @anonyHuman9637
