:(
hey everyone, i could really use some advice rn!
me and my best friend got into a big fight. we have barely talked for days, and this means i’m not invited to hang out with our friend group. i’m feeling really sad and alone, and i don’t know what to do. i’m trying my best to take this time and heal, it’s just really really hard not to be depressed. i miss him so much already and i just want things back how they were.
@absiee that sounds really hard and I know a lot of us have probably been in that situation before, what I can suggest is think it through first. If all of you're friends are leaving you and refusing to interact with you are they really you're friends. Also ask yourself a few things first. Has this happened before, was the argument really that big of a deal, is this possibly a toxic friendship that you should leave. And one more thing find those people who will support and care for you, don't focus on the bad side and try to take this as a opportunity of growth and finding your people.
thanks for the tips here i really needed to hear that❤️ this has happened a few times before, we always work things out in the end usually, but it’s just really scary still yk. we are like brother and sister, and we have invisioned our whole life together. it seems unusual that he would drop me after this, but i’m still anxious about it. he gets mad often, and it does make me question if our friendship is toxic or not, it’s just hard not to be biased and remember all our good times. he hasn’t been there for me in my hardest moments, which is hard not to look past. i really hope i can find some other real friends to be there for me now, i just feel like no one compares to him.
@absiee I understand that, for now I think the best actions you can take is to focus on yourself and make sure that this doesn't take to big of a toll on you mentally and emotionally. Also one thing I will tell you is I know it can be hard to let go of someone who's always been there it happened to me to but we all have are limits and moments of realization so if you do find that your guy's friendship is not a healthy one it would be better to either talk it through or leave that friendship then to stay and force yourself to deal with it. But like I said it cauld definitely help to just think over it for now and focus on your emotions amd what you need in able to feel better.
@absiee awww I'm sorry sweetie ❤ me myself I'm a loner, so not to sure what to say to comfort you. So I'm just gonna give you a giant tiny hug ❤❤
Sorry about how you are feeling right now. I know how tough it is. But if your friend gets angry enough to break off contact that isn't a sign of someone being healthy in a relationship. How do your other friends feel about people cutting off contact with one another because of a misunderstanding? @absiee
