The Other Side
I feel like am dieing
Doctors say depression is a side effect of cancer but I beg to differ
Depression is a side effect of dying
It's like a slow poison running through ur veins
Strangling u
Weakening u
But you neva know what it is
Till ur last breath
Depression, Death, Suicide
They are all linked together
By this infinity
People see it but choose to turn a blind eye to it
There is no such thing as "I am depressed, I am going through a lot"
Everyone is going through a lot
Everyone is depressed
At some point everyone feels like letting go of everything
And believe me everyone is dieing
They are just better at hiding it
The pain
The will to let go
And one day I'm gonna let go
Of everything I tried to tie together
I'm gonna be free and flying once more
Look for the glimmers. I know it’s cliche, but it works. I understand the pain too. Both the mental and the physical pain that depression causes. It squeezes your heart and makes life feel unbearable. Try to remember taking one’s own life is a permanent act to a temporary situation. Thank you for opening up here. That takes pure courage.
