Things happened that ruined my plans, like breaking my rib, so this summer was disappointing.

Hi there, that's really annoying. I understand it's frustrating, I wonder if some of your plans can be postponed to Autumn time? How is your rib now? How long before you can heal? Maybe you have to do some rehabilitation therapy after it heals?

My rib seems to be fine now, and I've been back bike riding for a few weeks.
@MeaningfulSilence thank you for the welcome. I love hot weather, so summer is my favorite. I've been feeling pretty depressed lately, but I have great support at Cups. It's just really hard dealing with chronic depression and everything else.

It's difficult, I understand that, but you are doing great in looking for support and sharing how you feel. Coping mechanisms need us to make the first step, I am sure you will be able to find what works better for you to support you during the worst moments.
Btw, is your DP and nickname suggesting you like reading? What is your preference? Novels? Mystery? Adventures? 🙂

@MeaningfulSilence thank you. I wish you a good Sunday as well! My favorite books are legal/courtroom dramas/thrillers and psychological thrillers. I also like to read nonfiction. I am reading something right now about the opioid crisis in the US, and a few months ago, I read about likely possibilities for what happened to the MH370 plane. I really enjoy learning new things. Do you like to read?

Yes, I also like to read, usually during the weekend or before sleeping 😊 I find it relaxing and interesting, I am old school... I like having books 📚 better than kindle! So i can write my thoughts and add notes to it.
@MeaningfulSilence I understand. I only recently switched to reading on a device, and I still do prefer real books. I have a book discussion thread that just started about a novel called Defending Jacob. If you like, I can tag you in it so you can feel free to join (no pressure at all though)💚
