What's going on?
Is it me or 7 cups is becoming such a dead place? More and more people i used to talk are leaving and few people interact in the forum. I used to really like posting because of the engagement and it was really nice talking to all these kind people but now it's just dead. i can't shake off the feeling that i am wasting my time on this app.
@schrodingerscattt Hey :) I've noticed it's been a little quiet here too lately. I think it goes in spells and there's really active times and then it slows down for awhile and then it picks up again
With some people it's probably not that they've left for good but might just be taking a small break and they'll be back. But it does feel a little lonelier when it gets quiet here

Yes. It feels very lonely on here. But maybe it's also because of the contrast I have between Reddit and here. On Reddit it's so active and there is so much engagement! But I made some friends here and I would miss them way too much if I would leave the app.
@schrodingerscattt Tbh that's a lot of why I haven't left here either - the people I know and interact with. I would miss them. Hopefully things will start to pick up again soon and it won't feel as lonely here :)
ya. i have multiple vent apps when this place feels quiet. just to have options and more spaces to vent and interact. not feeling a lone.

@schrodingerscattt tbh I think it is connected a little to the front page lagg. I had my front page stuck on same pre Christmas content since December the entire January. I don't know if it was just my situation or others also had this issue, but new posts didn't pop up on feed because of them. It seems to be fixed now tho. Also I think it is a bit about duties people have and lack of big holiday or universally triggering event (probably time around valentine's day will have a little higher traffic). So no big exams, holidays etc presently could contribute to it in my oppinion

@schrodingerscattt I also wondered for a while if it is just me... But glad they fixed it, now I have new content almost daily, what's great cause posts will get more traffic. I had at least a month like that that if I wanted to see something new I had to go specifically to a community or search for a specific person, otherwise was stuck staring at the same stuff
