What’s the point?
How do you cope with feeling unfulfilled in life?
I’ve tried so hard creating friendships but I always seem lowest priority and people drift away. My family forget about me most of the time. My long-term partner is disengaged sexually and gets angry when I try to talk about my feelings. My job is boring and slow.
I’ve booked holidays and day trips and ‘fun’ things to do but nothing ever feels right.

I can imagine how painful it must be when friendships don’t seem to blossom and when your family isn’t as supportive as you’d like. Also it must be frustrating when your partner isn’t able to engage with you, especially when you’re trying to express your feelings. It’s also tough when you’ve planned fun activities but still feel that emptiness. That’s a lot to carry.
What do you think is at the root of those feelings of unfulfillment? Are there specific moments or experiences that stand out to you?
Thankyou for replying x
I just feel like my life is going nowhere and that everyone else at least has something good: strong friendships, a loving relationship with someone who adores and desires them, family they are close to, a job they enjoy etc. Nothing seems to stick for me and I don’t know where I’m going. I often feel that I am good at listening to other people’s problems but no one is there to listen to how I feel.
