My 5 year old has recently been diagnosed with cancer. I can’t function properly and feel like my whole world has ended. I’ve no friends and no-one to talk to. I feel like I’m going to have a nervous breakdown and am so terrified incase he’s not going to be ok

That is terrible I am so sorry you and your family are going through that. It's completely understandable you are feeling that way.

I'm so so sorry to hear about your 5-year-old's diagnosis, and I can only imagine how overwhelming and devastating this must be for you. Remember, you are not alone, and it's normal to feel like this during such a challenging time. Surround yourself with loved ones who can offer comfort and support. Stay strong, have hope, and cherish the moments of resilience and joy. Your love and presence will be a source of strength for your child.

Hello Ineedhelpbadly, that's heartbreaking, so sorry to hear about your little child's health issue.

I would hope you are not facing all that alone, it would be good if someone could help you with daily tasks so that you can focus just in your child and all that needs to be done to cure him.

I also hope that talking in the forum or with a listener on here could be of support in this difficult moment.

Please keep us updated.

A big friendly hug to both of you.

That does sound really hard. Are you talking to your child's doctors and nurses about your fears? They can probably lean you in the direction of some more support. You aren't alone in any of this. @Ineedhelpbadly
