burnout
ive recently been having the most awful mix of burnout and depression. i happened to enter a depressive episode just as some relationship problems were happening and i entered the 4th month of a fruitless job search and all of it mixed together to create one of the most potent burnout experiences ive ever bren through. im in a nursing program (1st year) and i need a 70% in all my classes to pass. i am just barely passing with a month left of the semester and i honestly just want to pass this year. do any of you have tips on how to survive burnout?? i just want to feel productive again.
Burnout can be tough. First, have tons of compassion for yourself. You are only aiming to pass, not higher, in a bad semester. Make sure that you are eating and drinking water. Without the basics like that you can't do anything. Try to get outside to study, etc. when you can.
Also, be sure to let us know how you are doing.

i am doing pretty okay as of today! i took the leap to set up an appointment with the counselling office of my university, and ive been making food again. today i studied a bit with a studying video in the background to help me focus, diy body double lol. but thank you so much for your reply, it has really helped me reconceptualize this period of my life :))
I am glad that things feel a little better today. You can do this step by step.
It is great that you set up that appointment. I know that was probably a little harder to do.
Feel free to come here any time that you want to comment on how you are doing or just vent. Getting it out of your head helps too.
I also do a lot of work with students to help them get out of a funk in my regular career so I have seen lots of things and know how to get around the roadblocks. I have hit them myself. @compassionateSquare7403
