hi...not sure what to say here. I don't feel like I'm doing well. My stomach hurts. When I eat something it kinda burns going down. I'm so stressed. My dad passed away a month ago. My mom is depressed and won't go out of her independent living apartment. My son recently got married and we never see him. I feel I've lost 2 important people in my life. I only have the one child. I feel empty. I have had a headache for over a week. I don't have any happiness in my life.

hi,

i’m sorry to hear about the emotional pain and stress you’re going through in your life right now. I can’t really on some levels of just the overall feeling of sadness and loneliness and unsure of the future. The passing of one’s father( which I can’t speak too much on because my father still here but I have experience many family members losing theirs) I’m sure losing your father or any parent would be easy on the soul. Sometimes so much of what we don’t wanna admit is that we need our parents even at an older age and I think not having a parent around feel like a source of abandonment and since death is permanent that pain remains I’m really sorry that this depression has taken a toll on your health the only advisor suggestion that I could give would be to meditate hold your own hand long showers reading exercise journaling all the stuff people always tell us that we don’t always listen to I struggle from depression on all levels I don’t have one specific trauma but I know that those things have helped me to really create a better healthier path for my mental state in my future hopefully this helps

Well, I think that you said it all perfectly. You are dealing with lots of big changes at once and that is always hard.

Have you been able to talk to your son a bit about how you feel? It can be hard to establish a new way of being. It takes lots of time and patience. @independentWillow2300
