graduation depression rant

I’m feeling really depressed. I’m on an antidepressant that works well for me, and having my ADHD medicated helps a lot too. But my primary goal in life was to go to college and graduate. School often left me in a survival state, but at least it provided a sense of purpose. Now I’m struggling to work through job applications and I barely leave my room. I’m playing video games to relax but all my friends are gone for the break and I just feel really alone. I feel disconnected with my religion but I know God loves me and supports me. I’ve just had it drilled into my skull that a lack of work makes life meaningless, so when I’m not working or contributing to society I feel worthless. It’s just a lot to carry and I’m afraid that even finding work won’t alleviate my feelings; I’ve always had school to structure my life and demand constant attention and productivity. It’s just a big transition and I’m really overwhelmed.

@coffeecherry aww hugs you tightly ❤ it's a very big transition from school, to the working life. I hope you find something that you love to do, and that stimulates your brain in simular ways. And it's ok to loose a little faith now and again, but yes God will always love you and be there when you need him ❤❤ life can turn and change in weird ways, but it always had a funny way of working out ❤❤gives you another hug ❤ everything is gonna be ok ❤
