i’m currently 15, looking to seek help. My mental health has always been dismissed by me and my family and now it is catching up to me. I feel empty and cold. I can’t even remember the last time i had a good laugh with my friends. My relationships has always been horrible to me. I been cheated on in every single one of my relationships and now that i found someone loving i cannot give them the same energy. i’m constantly tired and crying. I feel like i cannot give out love.

@brightCake4081 Hello, Thank you for sharing. It sounds really heavy to feel this way, especially after feeling dismissed for so long. Feeling tired, empty, or unable to give love makes a lot of sense given what you’ve been through. I’m here to listen if you want to share more about what’s feeling heaviest right now.

Im so sorry that you had to go through all this, must be really hard. I relate to you on the mental health dismissal part and it really hurts. Just wanna say that its not your fault at all that you've been cheated on, it's theirs, it's their shortcoming that they couldn't hold onto such a wonderful person as you. It might help if you tried communicating with your current partner, let them know what you're going through- I'm sure they'll understand and will help you. You can't not give out love, it's just that right now YOU need love yourself, you need to love YOURSELF- however you are, all the good and the bad things.

Try communicating with your partner or a close friend or someone you trust- and if you can't, we're always here for you. You're not empty or cold- you're just mentally drained and it's okay to feel that way sometimes. Just know that none of this is your fault. Try reaching out to someone close to you who you know can help you or if you feel like sharing more or talking, I'm always here to help. Love yourself and communicate with your partner.

One thing that I've found really effective is that you should try and right down all your thoughts in a notebook or on your phone daily. Your mind is very overwhelmed, so trying to address these emotions and thoughts daily might help clear everything. Try meditation for 10-15 minutes daily, start from 5-7 minutes and then increase the time, breathe in for 3 seconds and exhale for 6. Try being less critical of yourself and try hanging out and relaxing with your friends- talk about something very random or something you love. If you feel they can't help you, I'm here if you feel like sharing. You're not alone and i beleive in you<3

This is so kind and the most help. I have talked to him about my mental health because it’s just trauma on top of trauma. I was always been told keep it to yourself because no one else wants to hear about it. Maybe less harsh haha but in my house, depression isn’t real. I feel so heartless when, i tell him that i don’t know my own feelings, but i actually don’t know. It sounds silly to say but you saying that makes me feel not so silly. I hope it’s okay if i share this but In my younger days i was assaulted and never got to experience a normal childhood. I have always felt older and more mature than kids my age. I also feel as if i haven’t fully gotten over it, so what are some ways do you think i could deal with it? I will definitely be writing down my feelings daily :) If your not sure that’s okay but the more feedback, the more better i can try to treat myself so any is good 🥹 thank you so much 🩷
