I'm so lost and confused. Everything is so overwhelming. I have so many opportunities and steps i can take in order to feel better but i'm not even doing it because i don't know where to start. My mind is not doing ok right now at all. I need someone to step in and help me. I am tired of trying to figure out everything on my own. It's exhausting. Do you have any tips on what to do when you feel so confused and overwhelmed? Like i need a step by step guide to get out of the mess in my life😭 but there's no such guiiiide. It feels like an uphill battle. One thing gets better then more things go wrong. I really need some words of encouragement right now and internet hugs😭

Hi, thank you so much for sharing. I’m not sure what your situation is exactly, but what helps me when I’m feeling overwhelmed and confused is to do a baby step, something very small that will help me get a teeny bit closer to feeling more relief. It’s a moment to moment thing for me. So maybe if I know I’m dehydrated, I’ll get a glass of water, if I know that I’m holding in my pee, I’ll go use the bathroom, and just doing baby steps like that, as many as I can.

I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it’s the baby steps that bring about the most positive momentum and long lasting changes in our lives. We can’t go from feeling extremely overwhelmed to feeling peace, (unfortunately) our brains aren’t wired that way. So as we do one baby step, and then another one, and then another one, we are slowly but surely moving up the emotional scale. The closer we are to clarity and peace in our minds, the closer we are to finding the solution to things. Because the thoughts in our mind will not be blocked anymore by anxiety and stress.

So each time you find yourself getting too worked up, try to just do one kind thing for yourself. Also, something else that helps me is acknowledging what I’m feeling and then intentionally accepting it. I’ll say things like,

“I feel very overwhelmed right now, but that is OK. I don’t need to have all the answers right now. I’m feeling very anxious right now and that’s OK. This is all apart of the process. I am allowed to be anxious right now and sit with what I’m feeling. I understand that it won’t last forever and that I am safe to feel what I’m feeling.”

So I try to consistently and intentionally remind myself of the truth because a lot of times when I’m feeling a lot of anxiety and I’m overwhelmed, my brain will be a bit dramatic and pessimistic. I hope this helps, it’s just something that has helped me over the years. You’ve got this, you are extremely capable and supported 🦋 Sending you internet hugs 🤗♥️

Thank you! I have been going through a lot recently.  So many things are just falling apart and nobody is here to help me. I have no feeding and family I can rely on😭 I have only acquaintances that I see form time to time. Since I was a teenager I had to basically raise myself because my parents were so neglectful. I'm literally burnt out right now but I have no other way than just keep going. I'm trying to take breaks for myself but even sleeping 10 jours a day is not enough. I am just exhausted of all this overload of problems. On top of all I can't make friends with people who didn't go through trauma because they don't get it! When they share their problems with me I don't get them because they seem so trivial. And when I share my problems they are horrified 😂

I'm trying to see the silver lining and find positive things in my situation and at least I will become more resilient than ever. I also acquired tons of knowledge and wisdom at this point in life.y problems constantly push me out of my comfort zone and make me think so hard to find whatever solutions.

But still, it's only because I'm already in the situation.  Otherwise I wouldn't advise anyone to go through trauma to grow. I didn't ask for what happened to me and it hit me out of nowhere.  I'm just trying my best.
