Hi,

I'm fellow depression sufferer (or is it depressive?), I'm 34,I've been diagnosed since I was about 18, but things have been very rough the past five years.
Currently, I had to move back in with family because my last job closed down it's branch. Now I have another job, but it pays so low I can't afford to move out, the commute is very long, I find myself drained most of the week and making mistakes every week at work. I

'm constant afraid at work that I'm going to get fired and I don't click with my coworkers, really. So it's pretty lonely, my weekends are mostly working on improving my skills to get a better job.

I go back and forth between feeling like I'm in limbo and feelng like I'm on a treadmill that is going too fast adn I can't slow it down.

@Exist56, welcome in the community! I'm glad that you've reached out to us - I'm a fellow sufferer too ^^;

I want to thank you for posting about your anxious thoughts and feelings. I recognize that it had to take a bravery to share it. You're overwhelmed and stressed and it's understandable, lovely. You have a lot going on in your life. It's difficult for you to cope with living again with your family and work-related fear every day, along with good self-care to handle your depression. It's not your fault that you lost your last job. It's not your fault that you have finance problems. It's not your fault that you have a mood disorder. It is not your fault. Y

ou are doing as best as you can in such exhausting situation. You're strong for not giving in to your low mood and keep on trying. That's a huge achievement, really. I know how much energy it requires. You deserve to be more gentle with yourself, because you have already many battles going on. Treat yourself kindly, recognize the effort you are putting every day to survive and take a really good care of yourself.

Have you considered checking up with your doctor to see if the depression hadn't worsened during these recent weeks? It is a good idea to ask for assistance, because your energy is already strained.

Sending you all of my strength and hope!

*hugs*
