I would love to introduce myself, if I knew what to say.

I just turned 39 last week. I have teens and my second marriage is in the processof ending. I have been married since I 18 with a literal few months off in between marriages.

I never found out who I really was and what I like and like as individual.

So many issues....whereto start.

Try and do something for someone:) if you have time write someone a card. Or make them brownies. You will forget about your own issues while you are doing something for someone else.

I think the important thing is to find out who you are. I'm not sure if your marriage can be saved but tell your partner you need some time to discover who you are and what you want from life. 39 is still young and taking a month or two to find yourself could change you as a person and help build a successful marriage and family. Never forget you can be a wonderful wife/mother and do some things for yourself too.

Thank you For your kind words. I've been taking steps to try and find things I enjoy doing, no luck so far. I feel like everything I thought I would enjoy doing makes me feel more lonely when I actually try. I am seriously wondering if I am either the most boring woman in the world...or I have been so Co dependant my whole life that I don't actually know how to have fun alone. My kids are old enough they take care of themselves, therefor I have way to many alone hours after I leave work.

I wish mymarriage of 10 years could be saved, my husband does not think it can. He moved out a year ago. We have kept a friendly relationship going over the phone until the last month when he said he was done Trying.

Learning to live again. Your screen name really translates what it is we're trying to Accomplish after such a hard struggle in life. I can understand how you feel alone and are almost unsure how to be alone. I too feel like that even when my family is around. It seems like no one is there but they are. I have small children on the other hand and it's hard to enjoy the simple things in life like the silliest things they do that would normally make you laugh. You almost feel like the life you once knew is no longer something familiar and this is where you find yourself lost in your own identity ...hang in there
