My friend when theybjokes around and goes into what they called their "wild mode" (just basically them being all crazy, it normally happens when their hyper or exited about something) and my siblings when I get to see them, they make jokes up or have a lot of funny stories to tell
When my hard of hearing parent misunderstands something I said and proceeds to have an entire conversation about the wrong thing and continues to ignore my attempts to correct them. Its so far from where I began that it becomes funny.
