What's your favourite go-to movie that you watch by yourself?

I was just thinking about this the other day!

What's your favourite go-to movie that you watch by yourself?
I don't know why but I feel like a lot of the times I actually enjoy watching movies more by myself, rather than watching with others. I feel like when I'm watching movies by myself, I can fully immersed myself inside the movie without any outside interference! Sometimes it's hard to get yourself immersed inside a movie especially when you're watching it with someone else(especially the talkative ones )!!!!

Mine would be the Harry Potter series and Lord of the Rings!

Funny I've been thinking of the same thing too: a movie when you're lonely.

For me, watching movies is always a social activity. I live in the US but didn't grow up here so I rely on my US friends for movie recommendations.

Recently, by chance I rewatched FORREST GUMP while I was feeling down, and now it is my go-to movie to watch by myself. It is:

- Funny, clever, thoughtful and sweet-- perfect for when you're able to have uninterrupted thinking

- A great reminder that people treat you differently because you're different, but it's really not to be taken personally. People are scared of the unfamiliar. You'll meet people who truly care for you, and you'll go on to accomplish great things in the world, and that is all that ever matter.

My faves: howls moving castle, spirited away, the girl who leapt through time.The lion king. I actually prefer watching movies etc... Alone, side commentary and noise distract me.
