So last few months I got really bad kind of lucky to be writing this.

But one thing that always gets me is at night and your thoughts are in overdrive! Keeps you awake and makes you feel so bad.

I'm seeing a councillor now. They said at night, imagine you have a little box in your hand and you say to yourself now thoughts you have to go in here. You can come back in the morning when I have the energy. Now I didn't want to try it really because I can't imagine a box in my hand and all that. But I said to my self thoughts you just have to go until the morning. It actually really helps and gets better each night you do it.

The fact you're not telling your thoughts to full go, but only putting them aside when you have the energy when you wake up and they're not as bad. I said I'd share this and hope it helps ye

I've found this to be helpful at times. I've been told something similar, 'put the thoughts in a box', and put them on the shelf until morning. If another creeps in, then gently put it back in the shelf. It has helped in the past, but sometimes it doesn't work. I've also extended this to include my whole identity, and I put 'myself' in the box, and for the evening, I was someone 'different', someone who doesn't have that identity with all of those problems. It's kind of helpful.
