Am alone and depressed
I just found this app because i thought it would be good to talk about my problems
so basically I had to move and 7 months later I still can't get over the fact am missing everything like my school leaving ceremony, prom and my school friends. Every time I think about it I get extremely depressed. I also had to move on the last year of school before the final exams so I keep getting this feeling everything I've done is in vain.
I want to talk to my friends about my problems but am scared that am disturbing them with my problems with they are revising. And where I am now, I can't even speak the native language so I can't talk to anyone.
I got this app because when I woke up this morning I went to check my Facebook to wish my friend a happy birthday but I when I saw tons of pictures of the party with all my friends it was like a slap to the face. I wanted to throw my phone against the wall.
I just feel lonely and Depressed. I keep thinking about killing myself to end the pain.

Hi AmNew, I would like to start off by saying that if you are having suicidal thoughts please contact the Suicide Hotline. Trained professionals there can get you the help and support that you deserve! I am sorry that you are feeling terribly depressed about moving. Moving is hard on most people and it takes some time to adjust. I am sure that you would not be a burden to your friends. They would probably love to hear about what's going on in your life and how you are doing! I would go right ahead and contact them. I understand that it might be hard to see your friends living their lives as if nothing happened. Remember that just because you won't see them in person does not mean you have to shut them out of your life. I think it would cheer you up to send them a Facebook message every now and then. I hope that things start looking up soon. Thing of the move as a new opportunity. A clean slate, if you will! I wish you the best! Hang in there!
