Anhedonia With Depression (Can't feel happiness)
Summer break has started, and I've just gotten off school. But I can't feel anything. I should feel relieved that I have no more academic work to attend to. And that I have loads of time for myself. But I don't feel any happiness, even at the thought of going on vacation soon. I just feel numb to joy. But I still feel shame, sadness, and guilt. I am still doing some of my hobbies, but they don't spark anything in me. I just want to stop feeling this way. I want to have a pause button on life. I thought summer break would be my pause button on life. But even with no immediate work on my hands, I still feel the same way. Anyone know how to fix this? (Without psychoactive drugs, of course.)
@DingoJackal I am also going through the same thing, it's really annoying. I just want to feel normal. I am no longer excited for anything.
