A nothing just waste of space
I don't know if there's such a thing of emotional depression but I've been going through so much due to my boyfriend emotionally and mentally I don't know what to do anymore and when I try talk to him about house I'm feeling he turns around and manipulates it to me where I'm the crazy person it's gotten to the point where I'm starting to believe him I can't eat I can't see because I feel like I'm just a waste of space of all the things that said any advice would help thank you
You’re not a waste of space. The chance that you were brought into this world was so slim to begin with, yet here you are. The universe works in mysterious ways but it does not make mistakes. Sending love and positivity 💕

Do you live with your boyfriend? Are there children involved?
He does not care how you feel. It is a huge red flag he does not care for you at all. He has problems he has to deal with. The best thing to do is to exit the relationship. He needs to take care of his problems. It is not possible for you to ransome his life, to complete, and save him. There is only one name through who salvation comes from. Are you Jesus Christ? I can guarantee you 1,000,000% you are not.
In all those cases the boyfriend will also manipulate and say they need you, you're the only one who understands, that they will change, that they are sorry, they had a terrible childhood, etc. They care for their interests but not yours. Stop Signs by Lynn Fairweather is a great book to help you.
Did you rush into being boyfriend and girlfriend? Persons can keep an appearance for a short time but not for years of times, like 2yrs or more.
Rushing into a relationship out of personal need, loneliness, and then trying to fix the person who no surprise due to rushing has problems as well will magnify misery. Not resolve own need very much less so the other's. It will end a mess.

2 Chronicles 25:7-10
New International Version
7 But a man of God came to him and said, “Your Majesty, these troops from Israel must not march with you, for the Lord is not with Israel—not with any of the people of Ephraim. 8 Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for God has the power to help or to overthrow.” 9 Amaziah asked the man of God, “But what about the hundred talents I paid for these Israelite troops?” The man of God replied, ----->“The Lord can give you much more than that.”<-----[arrows mine] 10 So Amaziah dismissed the troops who had come to him from Ephraim and sent them home. They were furious with Judah and left for home in a great rage.
Titus 3:10-11
New International Version
10 Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. 11 You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.
2 Thessalonians 3:14-16
If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of him. Do not associate with him, in order that he may feel ashamed. Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.
[Has to do with working for one's food, pulling one's own weight, being responsible, working with the church, not being lazy(productive members of society,/giving back to family and community, etc)as we are all required to do. Can apply to other commands of the gospel, do not regard as enemy/love your enemies with saftey sometimes indirectly.]
1 Corinthians 15:33,34
New International Version
Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.
Yes. We are to love our enemies. For our safety sometimes that is at a distance, like in abuse cases where one has to keep safety. We can love someone indirectly by loving/being kind to others who are in similar circumstances.
I know a previous relationship I had I felt an obligation to keep my relationship because I told the person I loved them. I felt obligated to keep my word when for both our sakes and even out of truthful love to the person it was best to break my word and be honest: I needed someone to love me not that I truly loved him, I appreciated him, but needed love, lacked love. However rushing into a romantic relationship or even going into any romantic relationship always magnifies one's problems, as in my case, and the other's as well, as in the other person who I rushed into a relationship. Working on following the Law of the Spirit of Life is best and teaches how to actually love The Source of our being who gives us good things for the desires of our heart and teaches us how to love ourselves and others. So that we do not seek others who do not have it in them to love to love us and want to fight and force it out of them. Permitting him, the previous relationship, to work on his recovery and myself as well is actual love. When others do not like us out of love for themselves and us, too, it is best to accept their not loving us and know their being honest about it, permitting us to not waste our time and emotions, lives is great love, too. It is unselfish. Selfless, though it may seem selfish and harsh. It hardly ever is.
The problem with us, humans, is not what we have done. It is who we are. We are sinners. Born sinners. 2000000% guaranteed and the only way to resolved that is to be interested in being saved. To be interested in going to the only one that can save, complete, and love us for his father knit us in our mother's womb, his father made us and loves us because he is love not because we love him. He devises and devises ways so that we may seek him. He set these very things appointed our times and places so that we may seek him.
Acts 17:24-31 NIV
“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”
I pray to the Source of existence apart from it, time, experience, and scope, who works all things for his will and the good of everyone, who delights in our seeking him, who cares, watches over us with great care and provides for everyone and everything---- I pray he grant you a very very good day. Amen. Amen. Amen.

***can apply to loving one another.
*never let any debt remain outstanding except the never ending debt to love one another.
@samara22
I apologize sometimes I think I am sharing things that are not my place. In addition, I am growing in my faith. I would not know everything. I have difficulty with loving one another. I feel I am not the right person to be telling you some things.
@worthless1981
The person in the previous relationship is/was a caring person but I was causing more harm than good. He would hate me a lot as some subconscious and conscious way to express he wanted to end things. Yet, he did not want to do the breaking up himself and/or needed me for his own interests still or did not want to be honest about something of himself that would ruin other things in his life in which he was leading a double life. A lot of factors and other things that I would not know that did not permit him to be honest for his well being for the Lord can give everyone "much more than that." (The event was also compounded by me not being honest as well, being needy, and forgetting to seek higher counsel in the matter for I know it is necessary to consult the Lord always first.) If you must know to learn, gain perspective. Other's experiences, lessons can help us, too.
@worthless1981
*Professional help is helpful necessary also. It is best to not go to someone who does not have love for us for love. Only Christ will never fail us and never fails us in loving us. Never letting any debt remain outstanding except the continuing debt of loving one another is a command the same as not being lazy/pulling one's weight. His commands are our life.
Bondage Breaker and Victory over darkness by Neil T. Anderson's might help.
A Christian Counselor is, I belief, best. Church and a pastor might help. Finding New Life and Focus on the Family on a christian radio station or app might help. 180065BIBLE can help you find a radio station near you.
It is helpful to make use of all rehabilitative/mental health services/resources/aids available to you. They are created for our well being.
I pray to The King of kings he strengthen, sustain, and guide you through, according to his great perfect will. Amen. Amen. Amen.
@worthless1981
Getting medical care is essential, necessary, too. Applying for all governmental programs that can help is essential, necessary, too. There is nothing wrong with getting the help we need. Be it having to seek a professional mental health counselor/ a christian counselor, pastor, a church, programs created to help us whatever they may be, etc are necessary.

Gary Thomas, The Sacred Search
"In the early days of your relationship, compatibility is artificially enhanced via sexual chemistry. Infatuation and immediate attraction are so strong, compatability or incompatibility barely even register. You both feel crazy about each other----how could you not be compatible? ....
When it comes to evaluating relational compatability, authors Ben Young and Samual Adams remind us that personality doesn't change: we grow and evolve but we don't become completely new people. So dont expect that to happen after marriage. The person you marry is the person you're going to be married to. That sounds elementary, but a lot of people don't believe that. They fall for a person's potential, thinking that the person they're marrying is going to change into someone who is substantially different. They thus marry someone with whom they might be somewhat "incompatible," hoping that, sooner rather than later, they'll become compatible."
In everyone's opinion if you marry someone with a lot of mental health challenges who is not taking care of them that is who you are going to get. The potential is there. For a person to heal. However, why would they need to seek help if one puts up with it, they can get away with it, they can, one does not set boundaries and limits, if one settles for less. If the person has a lot of problems and is troubled they need to get professional help.
A very wise person of my neighborhood shared what her mother shared with her: if ever she was at a job that did not make her happy, to quit. Her first job she got she was miserable, quit, moved on to the next job, was happy, and so grateful she took her mother's advice. Relationships are the same way. If one is just not entirely convinced, entirely miserable, end it and move on. It is never good to cohabitate, nor fornicate=sex outside of marriage. As they say, "why buy a cow when you can milk it?" It is not respecting oneself nor giving oneself to be respected and valued.
@samara22
Apologies. *A very wise teaching a person at my neighborhood shared.
Flattering a neighbor is spreading a net for his feet.
He is the source of Wisdom, understanding, counsel, power, strength. They are always from The Lord of all Creation.
@samara22
In my opinion it is artificially created not enhanced. Like dating on drugs: education is gone, the brain checks out. Structure, criteria, consulting the Lord of Life, education is needed.

"Can you help me out here? There must be a version of the Bible out there I haven't read yet, one that has a mysterious exception clause. ......
.......The exception clause I am referring to is found in Matthew 6:33. Here's how it reads in the New King James Version: 'Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.'
The mysterious version I'm looking for, the one I see so many people following and memorizing, goes something like this:
'Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness----except when you are choosing to marry. In that case you should follow your emotions, insist on a thrilling romantic attraction and overall relational compatability that makes the relationship fun, and then all these things will be added to you.'"

@worthless1981
Cohabitating and fornicating equal marriage for all definitions. What one sees is what one gets. Why would he need to change since one already married them/him?
If there is no marriage certificate to hold a person blessed be the Lord and take off.
@worthless1981
If one is in the relationship out of need, which is codependence, seek help. It is not love. Christ Jesus is the only one who completes and saves. Zeal without knowledge is foolish, too. "It is not good to have zeal without knowledge nor to be hasty and miss the way." Education is needed, too. Professional help is needed always. Hence why it is against the law to not send children to school. Home schooled children are schooled through a licensed program the parents follow. There is always professional help for low income. No shame in that.
A good bible based church can greatly help.
