Are the meds helping?

My doctor has been working for me for several years trying to get the correct mix of medications.

Unmedicated I fall into one of two bad cycles.

1. Depression: I become so emotional that i can't think straight and contemplate my demise in a way that is flamboyant. I guess this is so I will go out with a bag as they say.

2. Anger: I become so emotional that i can't think straight and contemplate the destruction of property and the demise of anyone I imagine as some sort of threat to me.

The problem is when medicated:

1. Depression: I calmly contemplate my demise in an efficient manner that will be the least inconvenient to my loved one.

2. Anger: I calmly contemplate the destruction of property and the demise of anyone I imagine as a threat to me done in a way that I won't have legal repercussions.

It sounds like you're dealing with a difficult situation. It's important to remember that it's normal to have ups and downs when it comes to mental health, and medication is just one tool that can help manage symptoms. Have you considered talking to your doctor about other options, such as therapy or support groups, to help with your symptoms? It's important to find a combination of treatments that works best for you.
