Bipolar girlfriend
I have a bipolar girlfriend and have 2 kids with her. I've been with her for 11 years but I am tired and mentally beat down. I don't wanna leave her because I love her and don't want my kids growing up without their parents. Iduno what to do. She gets so bad and says so much off the wall stuff that it has caused me to be very insecure and I am starting to think I am the problem. I am stuck and miserable and get tired fast because I'm so depressed. Anyone have advice?
@Frank88 It seems that recently after 11 years being with her, some complications and has caused you to feel misery and insecure which makes sense as she is bipolar and most likely can say and act in ways that may be hurtful unbeknowst to her. I do not have advice but I believe you should remember to take care of youself as well. I find it admirable that you do not want to leave your kids without parents and do not want to leave your girlfriend as you love her. It seems that you are very thoughtful even while you have your own struggles. But from an outsider perspective, it's easier to see that if you get drained and depressed it will be hard for to take care of your girlfriend and kids so while there's no easy choice, I hope you can also think about what's best for you.
