Hello everyone , I stumbled across this site / app . I am really suffering with my mental health I have seem to lost interest in everything. I cry alot for no reason everything seems like to much. I also get agitated for no reason at all , I feel alone even tho I am not. I go to therapy weekly and that doesn't seem to do much at all. I have tried mindfulness and de-stressing apps for my phone & nothing helps. I have been off & ony psych meds since it seems like nothing helps, I go back & forth from depression to being sped up to not wanting to do anything with my life. When I talk to my boyfriend he says o don't know how you want me to help you . I don't even know how he can or anyone can help ..

Please input I am beyond feeling hopeless

@M3gan86 I'm sorry that you are feeling this way. I can't say that I understand exactly what you're going through, but I've felt similarly. I felt alone when I wasn't, I got agitated easily.

It took me a while to get out of it, but I realized, for me, what I needed mostly was to keep my mind busy. I started to binge watch show after show. And when I felt overwhelmed with feelings and didn't know who I could talk to, I started to write. I started to write all that I'm feeling onto Tumblr, which I felt to be quite helpful.

Hopefully this would be of help, I truly hope you'll find your interests for your old hobbies again, or at least find some new ones :)

@M3gan86 I agree with KSWQueen; seek out relationships that will help you feel happy about simply being alive. Seek out hobbies to pass your time and activities that you are passionate about.

Welcome! happy to see u are reaching for help! hope u find the community soothing and supportive. the way you describe youreself, it really looks like u need a de-stressing technique to wok on every week, because other than advice and support, you need to be able to calm and relax on youre own too.Even if you are tempted to get negative, schedule something, like yoga or meditation and spend as little as 10 minutes in the morning doing it, because your subconscious will get used to being refreshed and tell you youre day is going to be better than the last one:)

@M3gan86

Hi! Firstly, welcome to 7 cups, its a pleasure having you join us. This site is really good for talking to people like to occupy your mind or else there's listeners that specailise in depression which you can talk to. Keeping yourself busy is very important as it puts you around people or takes your mind off this whole idea that you're alone. Going on picnics or cinema dates with your boyfriend could be one of the many things you could do. Talking about it helps alot because then you know that there's other that are going through it or have been through it. Usually in each town, there are support groups that meet up for depression which you could check out. Perhaps taking your boyfriend might be a good idea to educate him on this topic so that he can support you better! ☺
