@AnyTimeFriend There is a large amount of history behind it. It started out as a small fortress then was reconstructed in the mid 13th century, and has since been through many discoveries, alterations and residents :)

Alhambra palace is a fantastic place. It is a must to visit place if you go to Spain. Really takes your mind of everything.
