Being depressed mess with your mindset it drains your energy I look for better days but some days are harder than others

@calmsoul18o, I agree that fighting with depression feels like a never-ending battle. It is so energy-draining that it can make you feel hopeless. It is so easy to lose yourself and focus only on the heavy burden of feeling miserable and shameful.

However, every small step of you choosing your health brings you closer to recovery. It doesn't look like it, it doesn't feel like it, but each day you survive, each night you close your eyes in your bed with a beating heart, no matter how alone you feel - is a victory. No one can take it away from you, not even your tired brain.

And it adds up over time, no matter how long you've already struggled with depression. You are stronger and wiser than yesterday. And tomorrow, you will be more compassionate, because you know best how much work you put into being healthy, loving, and happy.
