Don't Incriminate Yourself

For those of us who struggle with depression failure can be the ultimate set-back. I wanted to post a kind reminder to be gentle with yourself. Self compassion takes practice as most of us suffer at the hands of our own inner critic. Any kind of relapse does not indicate failure, but an opportunity to begin again wiser than before. An opportunity to be reminded, encouraged, and reinforced in our efforts to better ourselves. In short, do not put yourself on trial, each and every victory is worth celebrating. Choose not to listen to those distorted voices. Love yourself. Strength & wellness.

Thanks for this encouraging message, @blitheSun94. Being gentle wth ourselves is so difficult when our inner critic berates us constantly, but it can make all the difference in our wellbeing. We need to be our own allies if we want to recover.

Thank you once again, lovely. All the best!
