Dry Eyes

i am depressed because I have dry eyes/MGD from looking at the solar eclipse without eclipse glasses back in August. I am regretful for my reckless decision which led to a permanent consequence. My dry eyes treatment offers relief but Im still saddened that my eyes look sunken and smaller and less pretty than before. I already have insecurities about my looks so this problem just compounds the issue.

I didn't know that looking at the sun like that would cause dry eyes. I have had dry eyes for over 5 years now without doing that at all. I know there are a ton of different eye drops out there to help out and I also have a prescription eye drops also that I use. One thing that is really important is to keep them moist and to ensure that you keep up the tear part up and keep your eyes wet. I hope you have an awesome eye doctor to help you like an Optometrist. My doctor is so wonderful and I moved 2.5 hours away from him but couldn't find anyone that as good as him or with the vast amount of knowledge he has to help me so when I need to I travel to him which is usually every other month.

@DanaMH

thanks for responding to my post. Yeah, the eclipse ruined my eyes and ive communicated to other ppl who had the sam experience. I def shoulda listened to warnings to protect my eyes. Anyway, my tear quality is poor. What do you use to help with tears? What daily prescription drops do you use?
