Ever just been tired of being the "strong" one?

I'm going through a bout of depression lately. I'm typically the one who knows what to do next, optimistic and strong in most of my relationships. My wife suffers from anxiety and depression as well, so as to not trigger her, I try to keep my issues to myself. I don't have a lot of friends and those I do have, I feel I have reached out but not have gotten the support or empathy I need. The same goes with some family members. I'm just so tired of being "strong". I'm hoping through 7 cups I can find that support. It's pretty lonely here.

well I can relate you I do feel that too , at times I act strong in front of people I carry a heavy shoulder behind me like I'm the only child / sole breadwinner for my parents . My dad has diabetes , amputated one of his leg almost 12 years ago while my mum had high blood pressure affecting her eyesight & her knees are in pain she doesn't see a doctor only for her high blood pressure . 9 months ago , I was diagnosed with mild anxiety I feel ups & downs especially I hated it when it becomes overwhelmed . I cannot give you any good advice please accept my apologies but I was told I'm a great listener .
