i'm sorry you feel this way.

First identify the difference between loneliness and isolation. Loneliness is an emotion, mostly triggered by a sad memory and the brain loves to overanalyze things, so even momentary loneliness can escalate because of thoughts like Why do I feel so alone? and Am I just a loner? When this happens, just acknowledge the feeling and dont overreact. Could you record your thoughts and try to rationalise them?

Also, try to find the cause of this feeling. It's hard to stop something if you don't knoe the cause. There could be some underlying issues such as depression so i'd go and have a chat to your GP.

@sensibleFriend6464 That sounds rough.

How old is your child? If your child is very young, that can be an isolating time if youre staying home to care for him/her. Also, if you gave birth to your child, you may want to consider being screened for postpartum depression.

I can relate to feeling down even though the externals of my life seem good. Thats definitely a good time to check in with a health professional.
