Friends are hard relationships
I kind of need second opinions on this
So, I've been depressed for 3 years (officially) and I've had 4 friends that always helped me and tried their best all the time but now they're tired and frustrated cause nothing works, and i feel like i put too much pressure on them too, i feel like a burden because im always negative and can't see the positive side of things so i always end up talking like this and overwhelmed my best friend (wich also had problems at home at the same time) to the point that she said she needed a break of me because i was pulling her down, she didn't meant to hurt me but it did and made me think if it wasn't for the best if i got out of their lives...
@rebelkitty22 it is easy, just try a little effort and put yourself in your friends' shoes. How would you react, what would you do for your friend? There are normal people who cannot take on burdens tgat they cannot help or understand but that does not make them bad friends, they are just feeling helpless towards you and it is very understandable if they fall away because they do not want to grow depressed because of the frustration of not being able to help you.
Then there are those very extremely rare friends, who never give up nomatter what. Even if they are down they don't forget about you, they don't push you but they are always there, not judging, not nagging, not giving you advice, just being there so that you know someone is with you. Joke, talk, take away the thoughts from depression, just live on. Just like a trusted pet, only they can talk too ; )
@floreral67 yeah, my best friend left me, but her ex and my other one are keeping up with the problem, im really hurt but is in times like this that the true ones come out
@rebelkitty22 see : ), but also do not judge those who could not help because they are weak too like you, not at your level but they just don't know what ti do so they scare away, don't blame or judge them and reunite as soon as you get better : ). Hugs

I think that knowing that bad friends and relations is something good too to avoid toxico relationships in this moment.... even if is not the most positive thing to think now
I have a very good friend I met through tumblr. We talk everyday all the time and I felt like I finally have found someone who understands me. But recently she got really, really depressed. I tried to help like always as she has for me. However, in a quick message she told me she was going to take a break from social media. And I didnt expect her to go completely silent and off the map like this. Its giving me anxiety of abandonment, that she never wanted to be my friend and this was a way for her to leave me. Tommrow makes a week since she started the break... day by day Ive been checking message to see if shes come back, but no. I cant help but feel guilty, like this is my fault, and I couldve helped more. Or if this is because we have different beliefs sort of with religion.
Hi everyone!
Here is my answer and my own opinion about this post

I am also was depressed for some time. That lasted 2 years. My friends decide not to bother me after some time and I stay isolated. Now things become better, I am an active and positive person. The only thing that was really helpful was my belief in the good life!
