Greatest fears

I do not fear death, I fear eternity. If we were to simply cease existing, then there would be an end, closure. However, if we continue in some kind of afterlife, who's to say it will be any better than this? Who's to say that I will any better this?

That terrifies me also. I'm not scared of dying, im just scared because I don't know what to expect. If there's nothing, then it just all completely stops, and that terrifies me. But if there is an eternity, there is no end ever. Good, or bad, it terrifies me to think that forever is really forever.

It's common to have these anxieties when withend, there is control, and witheternity, a fear of not having thatcontrol.

With eternitythere is also a fear of the unknown, where perhaps the only remedy isacquiringknowledge of it.
