Hello! I understand that you can't feel happy and that can be a very painful feeling. I also understand that feeling like no one cares can be a very lonely thing. I experience this feeling at times too. But I'm glad you shared your feelings and reached out for help. There are a lot of people here who suffer from similar problems and there are also listeners and professional therapists who are willing to help. I am sure you can find relief in this community!

It’s completely normal to experience emotional ups and downs. You mentioned that when you felt sad or were hurt as a child your mother would be your source of healing. What is keeping you from turning to your mom today even though your older? While healing isn’t always immediate, practicing self-care can make a difference. While I don't know the full situation with your mom, consider talking to another close friend or family member. You could try finding activities that used to bring you joy or currently bring you joy. Whether it’s spending time in nature, listening to music, or engaging in hobbies.

I’m so sorry you are experiencing this I know exactly how it can feel moms kisses use to take the pain away but I figured when we get older so does the pain sometimes we have to heal ourselves from the inside out

Hi@imaginativeVillage307

I am really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's incredibly tough when it feels like your emotions are numb and the support you need isn't there. As children, we often had someone to turn to for comfort and healing, but as adults, it can feel much harder to find that same sense of relief. It's important to acknowledge that what you're experiencing is very real and valid. Mental health struggles can be incredibly isolating, especially when it feels like those around you don’t understand. Seeking help is a strong and necessary step, and it's okay to need it. In the meantime, small self-care practices, even if they seem insignificant, might help create a sense of connection with your emotions. Please know that you're not alone. There are people who care and want to help, including those of us here in this forum. Your feelings matter, and taking steps to find support is incredibly important.

Take care of yourself, and don't hesitate to keep reaching out.
