Lots of coffee, ibuprofen, and alcohol. The first acts as an antidepressant. The second helps uncrowd your brain in higher doses. The third because I am 97% introvert and the only way you will see me socialize is drunk and socializing helps (forewarning. Only really helps if you are a happy drunk).

The biggest step for me was setting up an appointment with a psychiatrist for the first time. Not only I had to accept the possibility that I have depression, I also had to battle the mental health stigma that going to psychiatrist is something shameful. I never regret it.

To this day, it remains the best decision I ever made in my life.
