How do I fight this

More and more often I've been flooded with depression. Like an amount I'm not used to ever dealing with. I used to be able to ignore it mostly but now it's just unbearable. Everyday I feel like I'm waking up surrounded by this white noise. So loud I cant think I ant enjoy anything. The only thing I feel is anger and hurt and sadness. I feel like i hate myself more and more. I dont know how to handle this. I dont know how to fight these feelings. Nothing seems to help except maybe talking but then I'm just numb and sad. How do I enjoy anything. How do i feel better. What am i supposed to do. I'm used to anxiety. I'm used to OCD. I know how to try and fight it but this is something new and its sucking me further and further down to the point I'm in an ocean and I barely know how to tread water let alone swim.

@Lycanthrope611 - I'm trying to survive a divorce and my dsyfunctional family's reaction to it. I'm personally talking to a therapist trying to survive right now. Reaching out to people without trying to overwhelm them. I'm also feeling very low and think I will go on anti-depressants for a while to help stabilize a bit. I've been crying a lot, feeling tired even though I've slept, unmotivated. I know I should be exercising, figuring out hobbies, but I'm not quite there strength wise. I've been listening to guided meditations to go to sleep. I'm going to try and travel in the months to come to hopefully feel stimulated by changes of scenery. I'm taking one day at a time to the extent possible, trying to be kind, compassionate to myself. I hope any of this helps you at all. Simply know you're not alone. There are other people who feel like you do right now trying to cope and cope in healthy ways.

I'm so sorry to hear that.. it's good that you seeking help and learning to cope in healthy ways, and if it means anything coming from a stranger I truly hope you the best. You deserve to be happy and thank you for sharing your experiences with me. It means alot to hear your strength and resolve. I hope I can be as strong as you are. It does help to hear about how strong a person can be. I will try some of those ideas and techniques. Thank you for your powerful words.

@Lycanthrope611 - I don't feel strong. I am barely surviving, but I try and find some strength from one day to the next in order to survive. I hope you can find a little will too and you work on self-love, which is what I'm trying too.
