How would you describe depression?
@breadloafy
It's like being HIV positive, you Don't feel yourself drowning until it's too late, they give you medications to slow down the process but you know you'll never be healed, your defense system is broken and everything is painful and hard, you have to hide your condition and people look down on you for it, you're dying slowly no matter how hard you fight, so you wonder why don't you leave sooner and spare yourself the waste of energy, time and money...
I'm sorry if this offended anyone. I was just spilling my guts here.
Okay so this is going to be long I think.
Sometimes depression is being angry and frustrated because of everything. Because the world sucks and there is so much misery out there. So much wrongdoing and there s nothing I can do to stop or change that. It s eventually breaking down and not seeing the point of anything anymore.
Sometimes depression is feeling nothing at all. Just sitting there, being totally empty, unable to feel anything. Drowning in nothingness. Not having the energy to do anything against it, not having the energy to even move or think properly. Everything is just ... blank.
Sometimes depression is feeling horrible and worthless and like a waste of time, energy and resources. It s breaking down and sobbing with no seeing end. It s crying one's heart out until emotions and energy are just used up.
Sometimes depression is just kinda living along, but constantly breaking out into tears. Not really crying, but just tears rolling down your face. It s just sitting there silently, tears running down your face, not really knowing the reason why you are sad, you just kinda are.
I feel as though people look down on me.
