If I'd had some support maybe it would have been different

Lost my job on April 1st. I'd been there 22 years.

Over the past 10 years it's been one major life change after another. My sister died, I met my bio dad. He married my mother again. He did NOT treat her well and was a jerk in every way. My mother got cancer and passed away. Then dealing with my bio dad, he got sick, ended up on a nursing home, and passed away. My brother came running of course and then dealing with my fathers affairs with no will, my brother put roadblocks in everything, fought every step of the way, wanting his share. He ended up with the house, which good. I have a house. But he lost it and everything in it. It was trashed, repossessed and we lost all moms possessions. During all this my children moved out, became adults and I was kind of lost as my role in their life. One some was dealing with mental health issues, and just dang.

I just hit bottom. Eventually my brain said enough. I got help and talked to my boss. Her reaction was first to tell me I need to find god, and second be happy it was just depression so a pill could fix it.

Well, i didnt find god and a pill didnt help. Weve tried different meds and dosages. I think weve finally found the right combination.

Then I get fired, well, asked to resign. Resign and get 2 months severance or not sign, be fired and get nothing.

I dont get it. Dont understand. I live in a no fault state, so nothing I can do. Oh if I had tons of money I could probably fight but I'm paycheck to paycheck.

Just dang...
