I feel helpless..any advice needed please
Hello, everyone. This is my first post and also my first time publicly posting about this type of thing or asking for help. Hopefully, we can help each other and make friendships along the way.
I really need some advice, even if it is just from one person today because I honestly feel defeated.
When my fiance and I first got together, everyone in his family bent over backward for me and kissed my ass to the extreme. I by no means asked for that kind of treatment, I was actually terrified that they would think I was weird and not like me just expecting the worse. I didn't realize at the time that their kindness was insincere, I thought they were nice to me because they respected me and because I love my fiance and would do anything in the world for him. Shortly after we had been together, my soon to be mother in law, along with a few other constant trouble makers, started showing herself and just being two-faced as humanly possible. I tried so hard to overlook it, but she would be two-faced in front of me on trips and act two-faced on Facebook where I had to encounter it even when I wasn't around her. I never got a break from it. So, a month or two ago I took her off of my Facebook. I didn't block her, it's not like I hated her. I just didn't want to see the high school type drama on my news feed any longer after already overlooking it for a long time. After I did that, my fiance's family started cutting me off, talking shit about me, treating me like shit, ignoring me, etc. We are currently trying to move and my fiance's grandma offered to help, so I sent her a Facebook message this morning thanking her and telling her how appreciative I was only to have her tell me that I need to find God, that everyone in the family hates me, that I am disgusting and hateful, etc. I think the worst things that she said to me were also the biggest lies. She claimed I am, "destroying their family," "we can never have Christmas or holidays ever again as a family thanks to you," "you two should have never moved in together," "you are evil and don't deserve to be with my grandson and hate you being with him," etc. She also after cussing me disregarded my thank you message and informed me that the only reason her and anyone else is trying to help us is for my fiance's sake and that they do not care what happens to me. They want my fiance to come home to all of them and hope I become homeless if this move is unsuccessful. All because I took someone off of Facebook. I am definitely not trying to destroy anyone's family and I really fail to see how deleting someone on Facebook results in them believing all of this stuff. If I wanted to destroy their family, I would treat them horribly, would have permanently cut his mom off by blocking her on all social media, by treating my fiance like garbage, etc. Yet I do/did none of that because I'm not a heartless monster like they are making me out to be. I did try to tell his grandma why I took her off and also made sure she was aware that my freaking feelings were hurt as well, I have wasted so many nights crying about this situation. She told me that it didn't matter my feelings were hurt and to quit being a baby and grow up, but it's okay for everyone else to hurt and tack the blame on me? Between moving, trying to find a new job, being a full-time college student, and now this, I feel so emotionally overwhelmed and hated. I love my fiance very much, but I don't feel I deserved all of that just for taking someone off facebook. Mind you, they were treating me like shit before this, but now it is worse than ever and I think I've had a nervous breakdown. Any advice would help me so much
@VivKJ What kind of support are you getting from your fiance?
@stressBear If you want me to be honest, none. He does not like confrontation and is a mommas boy on top of that. I understand that he loves his family, they raised him after all. However, I feel the situation should be balanced between his family and I. I am the type to speak up, even against family, if I feel something is wrong, but I feel it is not exactly my place in this situation considering that its not my family and they think so poorly of me.

@VivKJ
@VivKJ Well, if you marry him, they will be your family (or not, depending on whether you consider in-laws family -- most people I know do, but I'm sure there are exceptions)
