idk what to do
does anyone else understand
@Samanthaclark life is always changing....so in reality... life will be very different in 6 months than it is today. You just never know what tomorrow holds. Hang in there. One day, you'll be so glad you did.
@Samanthaclark
@Samanthaclark I understand. Like... i really just dont understand why i am even here still.. if i am not making things worse, my life is just hell. and everyone tells me to just enjoy the littl ehappy moments, but there are so few and they get shadowed by the negativity so quickly.
@Samanthaclark
Having depression and anxiety is hard. I sorry to hear that you feel that way, tbh, I was battling those same thoughts all weekend. I can tell you that it does pass, you might need some help with it. But it can get better. While you might feel you'll have a better time in another life, there must be things that you would miss here? Ice cream, the smell after a rainstorm, the soft coat of a pet. There are alot of people in here that you can talk with about things. There are alot of us that understand.
@mytwistedsoul but what if those thongs arent enough ? then what do you have ?
@MyLifeIsAJokeMan Hope...the sheer will power of dealing with every day and every night feeling that way, but still meeting the day. I know it's hard, you feel completely alone, isolated, and misunderstood. You may feel as though you're not good enough, or that your being punished for something you did or didn't do. It's hard to reach out to people and say that you're struggling, that you're hurting and need help. We see it as a sign of weakness in ourselves, at least I do for myself. But you're here at 7cups, with people who are also having problems. Talking with people here does help. Just the fact that you came here shows an inner strength, it shows you want something more then just the dark thoughts and to give up. It shows that you do have hope, even if it's just a flicker, it's still there.
@mytwistedsoul IT IS !! it really is !! and i try that, taking it day by day, i tried quitting drugs, i tried doing drugs, now i just rely on them. I am not trying to just be a debbie downer, but what is the point of continuing to blow bubbles for the world to just keep on popping them in my face and screaming its my fault ?
@MyLifeIsAJokeMan Then you don't blow them for the world, you blow them for yourself and give the world the finger. I'm not saying it's easy, it's not. There is something lurking every where, just waiting to knock you down. Sometimes you just have to come up swinging and fight. I wish I knew something better to tell you, had better answers for you. We're all here to help, we all understand. As @SBHTX2017 said one day at a time, you can't control things that are beyond your control.
@MyLifeIsAJokeMan I completely understand how you are feeling I was adopted as a child and my birth mother didnt want anything to do with me. I was a nuisance and she let things happen to me and my siblings no person should go through. I use that example as how I dont want to live my life. I live a life of addiction and I type this to you sober because the fight is worth it in order to become a better person not only for myself but the people I want in my life at some point. It will get better, but only if you let things get better. It doesnt mean you wont have to work for it. Nothing free is ever worth it and nothing worth it is ever free. One day at a time.
@SBHTX2017 Day by Day
@MyLifeIsAJokeMan that is how I am learning to live. In addition, I am not trying to control the things that are beyond my control.
@SBHTX2017Yeah, i need to take a page out of your book man seriously.
like i say just breathe but damn the air can be thin sometimes eh?
@MyLifeIsAJokeMan yes it can be, but like any great athlete\climber we learn to move past it and rise up. You can
@Samanthaclark
I do. I found that if you find a group of people that you feel like you belong with, it helps. Just be careful to make sure its a group and not one person.
