I just want to move on!
Im so heartbroken today. I keep wondering if its taking so long to get over my ex because I have depression? He moved on before it even ended. He sucked too. I dont know why I loved him, he was not good to me. I feel like no one else will love me. No matter what I do I feel this emptiness inside. I just want it to stop.
@Smjw911 I'm sorry you're going through this. I don't have experience in your situation exactly, but I do know how it feels when your rational mind and your emotions are in conflict. And I know how it feels to want to just move on from a feeling but being unable to.
What I would try to tell myself if I were in your shoes is this. Life is grand and full of opportunity, just because this opportunity at love didn't pan out doesn't mean you won't have another. Look to the future and the road ahead of you and I think that you'll be alright.
There are different types of love besides romantic love. I hope that you have a good, strong, and loving relationship with your family and friends. And even when you don't feel you have anywhere else to turn, your communtiy here on 7Cups loves you and hopes you feel better.
