I'm nothing
Hi, I've been dealing with depression and anxiety issues for almost four years now and nothing has changed in that time. I've been told and suggested everything and I just can't accept it because it just doesn't feel right for me. I don't want to exist to anyone anymore. I don't feel anything most of the time, and when I do feel something its sadness. I'm a waste to everyone. I just had a cry for the second time today about how my life is going absolutely nowhere and that I'm simply worthless. I don't know what to do. There's nobody who wants to listen to me and that pains my heart. I don't feel important at all. I'm sorry
Rachel, I dont for a second believe that youre worthless!! I would be interested to hear things that you have to say. I know how you feel. I have been dealing with major depression since this summer. My counselor told me I have probably been low level depressed for most of my life though because of things that I have had to deal with. Im sure there are plenty of great listeners on here that would be interested in what you have to say. Im not a listener yet but may be signing up soon to do it. What kinds of things brought you joy in the past. Do you have any hobbies? I like to run myself.
Hi Rachel. I'd like to say that even though I don't know you, I care about you. Everybody has worth, but sometimes worth is something we have to find in ourselves. Our own individual worthisn't up to anybody else. But you do have my, and I'm sure many other people's, support in your healing.
I have suffered from depression and anxiety for years as well and have had similar thoughts to the ones you are having. Only recently have I gotten really determined to take steps to get better. They are very small steps, but they are steps nonetheless. I encourage you to be kind to yourself. Spend some time doing things you like, like whyme11 suggested, and that can put you in a more positive mindset.
I don't know what has caused your suffering, but I do know suffering and sincerely empathizewith you. Please be strong and I know you can make it through and things can get better.
