Inside:Outside
On the outside you see this smile, But the inside I'm crumbling, On the outside I'm like a child, But my emotions are fumbling, On the outside I'm just so sweet, But the inside I'm angry, On the outside you see my cheeks, But my sanity dangling, On the outside I have no fear, But the inside I'm shaking, On the outside I can't shed a tear , But I can't help it I'm quacking, On the outside I may seem lazed, But I swear that I'm trying, On the inside I feel so crazed , So bad that dying,
@SlowlyCrazed88, thank you for sharing with us, lovely. This is a challenging disorder, which sometimes makes it difficult to even express its dreadfulness, but I find writing about it makes it somehow more comprehensible. And reading your poem gave me a bizarre sense of peace, because there really are people in the world who know what I'm experiencing.
