Is there life after depression?

I started therapy and taking antidepressants around one year ago. I feel like I've been depressed for my whole year. At first I was feeling better, but now I feel it's starting all over again. Is it even possible to just stop being depressed? Is there any life after depression, or once you get it it's just never over, you can get better, but then you're worse again?

I was severely depressed any entire childhood up until I was 21. I had to go into therapy and put on antidepressants. It was difficult to fight through it and somehow I made it out alive. I'm 27 now and I'm the happiest I've ever been. I still have depressive moments but they're becoming few and far between. I'd like to say I'm a depression survivor and love the life I live.

There is life after depression!
