It’s back
I’ve been dealing with depression since 2017 and in 2020 it felt like it was going away but lately I’ve just been feeling awful again, constant breakdowns and anxiety and it’s awful, I don’t want to go back to those deep dark days ever again but I don’t know what to do. I’ve been to a psychiatrist which sorta helped but with the pandemic and the fact they charged full price for a video chat appointment made me stop going. My last appointment was in September 2020 and there she said I could slowly stop reducing the dose of my anti depressants until I fully stopped in January. I should have gone there at that time but didn’t due to the pandemic. I’m trying to gather the strength to ask for help once again. My parents are always very supportive and never once denied help but I’m scared to disappoint them by telling them I had a relapse but at the same time I feel like I’m deceiving them by pretending to be okay. I really don’t know what to do
On top of that, my anxiety spikes so much that I enter a derealization mode and nothing around me feels real, no memories feel real, nothing that has ever happened to me and is happening feel real and it’s really scary
I think u should take some help because u r saying u can't figure what is real so u should ask for help .its okay ask ur parents to help u its never a disappointment for them it will disappoint them if u don't tell them how u feel. And u should share how u feel when u have such amazing parents. So just tell them how u feel every thing is gonna be fine hold on to the good things in life . And I would love to know when u recover again:) and if u need anything to talk u can even talk to me if I can help in anyway I will :)
