Loneliness + Depression = ?

Hello everyone, I'm here of course asking for help.

I know that I'm diagnosed with Depression, and that's why I joined 7 Cups seeking guidance. Today I've made the "Emotional Wellness Test", and my results were as follow:

Issue Impact 100%

Depression 92%

Anxiety 100%

I don't think these results are helping, they just add up more to my current feelings.

I'm lonely and lost, I don't know what to do!

It's important to find out, learn more about, and know what is causing your anxiety and depression because "a devil named is a devil tamed". smiley

I did the wellness test twice lately and it came out mild anxiety and depression becuase I know I have social anxiety and loneliness that sometimes feeds depression. However ... I have moderate "issue impact" - this can be some issue that is causing or triggering your problems, and can range from an argument with a family member or friend, a nasty breakup, work stress (which has been my bugaboo), or even a traumatic event that happened years ago.

There are a lot of things you can do to get through these issues ... you have aleady taken a big step by coming here to 7 Cups and posting about it here and on your feed. yes Another thing you can do is talk to a Listener ... and I think the best way to do that is if you keep posting about your anxiety and depression here on the boards, a Listener will eventually come to you and open a chat with you. That's how it worked with me, and you'll be more guaranteed to have a listener that may be well suited in dealing with the type of anxiety and depression that you're dealing with. You have to, in your member profile, make sure listeners are allowed to begin chats with you. If you need to chat with one right away, you can browse them from a list and choose one. I have a fairly full list of listener chats that I've been involved in, including a regular one that I check in to every day. smiley You can also have an online therapist here ... but this option is not free. Nonetheless, I have one.

I hope this helps! smiley

this thread appeals to me very much, so exhausting to have nowhere to turn
