Lost with life

I've been dealing with depression for around 6 months now. I'm married to a lovely wife which has been mostly my main support since I told her about what was happening to me (which was later diagnosed). The problem is that this illness is causing her to lose her energy to help and to stay with me.

We live abroad and we have started to contemplate moving back to the country where we have our family. This is something I don't want to do and I feel that it's going to bring me even more stress and down but she keeps saying that she needs this family support as she cannot handle everything on her shoulders, especially if she has down days (which even that she is not depressed, sometimes happens).

I'm currently desperate and seeing my life spiraling and going to a place where I don't want it to be because of this, but at the same time, I don't know how to end the sadness and the things that are inside me.

@ecool I understand moving is difficult, trust me haha. But sometimes the things we don't want to do can turn out very good and positive in the end. As your wife supports you, you should support her too. Listening to each other is good & support from family might me helpful. I currently live away from family too and wish I could go home to spend time together. All in all, do what you both think will be best for each other together in the long run!
